Explore the island with us.

As far as islands go, Martha’s Vineyard is a big one: ninety-six square miles. Big enough to have six unique towns. Three “down-island” towns – Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, and Edgartown – are the most populated. With their protected harbors, Vineyard Haven and Edgartown become home to the Island’s nineteenth century whaling and coastal schooner fleets, while Oak Bluffs was the town where the summer tourist economy got its start. The smaller “up-island” towns of West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Aquinnah remain far more rural and tied to the Island’s farming and fishing history.

OAK BLUFFS

OCEAN PARK
You can’t miss it, the first park you see when arriving on the ferry. Stroll through the perfectly manicured landscapes up to the beautiful gazebo.

THE GINGERBREAD COTTAGES
The most famous houses in all of Oak Bluffs. Originally settled by pre-civil war era Methodists during their summer pilgrimage, each cottage has it’s own personality. In the center is the Tabernacle where services, weddings, events, and Brian and his siblings high school graduations were held.

BISCUITS
Don’t leave the island without sampling at least a few entrees at this popular breakfast spot. Biscuits Benedict, Chicken and Biscuit, and the French Toast (which is flash-fried for a nice crunch) are all must try items.
